As a writer, I read constantly, so no way could I ever list all the books I love, but here's a few I can recommend:
The Good Earth by Pearl Buck
The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency Series by Alexander McCall Smith The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas Authors I read when they put out new books are Laura Joh Rowland, Sujata Massey, Alexander McCall Smith, and Stephanie Bond. I'm catching up on the John Rain assassin series by Barry Eisler and the Jesse Stone series by Robert B Parker.

All one has to do to be a hero these days is throw a touchdown pass

About me: Inside the box: I'm just an ordinary gal living in an ordinary southern town. I do taxes for a major corporation, and its many entities by day. By night, I'm a wife and mother (though my daughter is in college and doesn't need her mommie as much anymore).
Outside the box: I'm a writer working toward that lofty place in author-dom.
