I started mc'ing back in 1995 at local session Jungle Juice after becoming emersed in Jungle/Rave music. As the music has evolved i've seen myself become resident mc for HQ(Oxford),Flava Unit(Kettering),Depth Charge(Oxford) and Sound Of The Streets (Northampton). Mc'ing for everyone from the likes of Greg Packer,Ratty,Marcus Intalex to Bailey. My mc'ing has taken me to Germany in 2003 which was a fantastic experience.With a short stint on Kool live with Garry K in 2004 i've also mc'd a few times at Acelerated Culture in Birmingham................................................................................... Upon doing a set with A.I. at one of these nights in July 2005 i was heard by SP:MC whom liked what i was doing and tracked my number down for a trial from Hospital Records Hospitality night. The night before this trial the Hospital crew got me down to Cardiff to mc as they were short.Both theis night and night after at Herbal went very well and has lead to more work at Hospitality nights............................................................................. October 2005 saw me get a call from Tony Coleman asking if I could mc for London Elektricity in Kendal as both Wrec and Sp were booked elsewhere. After the initial shock I said yes(with a week to the gig and never seeing the band perform). I quickly overdosed on L.E. tracks and rushed to London to see them perform at the Scala club.After seeing this show I definitely felt i'd been thrown in at the deep end. But after rehersal(10 minutes as everyone got stuck on motorway) we proceeded to rock Kendal doing 2 encores and getting mobbed on route to the dressing room(pix available at www.20six.co.uk/le-live). To the end of 2005 i've mc'd at nights like Detonate(Nottingham),Hospitality@Heaven(main stage for Cyantific and Room 3)..................................................................................................................................... 2006 has started very well for me with my inclusion on the Hospital 10year tour team and gigs at Fabric and Poland already under my belt. Forth coming gigs include Amsterdam,Cardiff,Fabric and Heaven.All this while still keeping up with my local residencies and bookings at smaller gigs around the country(actually got a booking for september 2006 which seems mad as I remember having weekends with no work)............................................. .............................. Onwards and upwards for 2006 and beyond. I'm throughly enjoying myself and the music and long may it continue....................................................................................................... Peace
