Ruth McGinnis is an author, recording artist and wellness professional, known for her beautiful music and inspirational storytelling. She is the author of Breathing Freely, a critically acclaimed memoir, and Living the Good Life, a guide to well-being based on her many years experience as a personal trainer.
Ruth is also a Juilliard trained violinist who has performed and recorded with Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Vince Gill and the late John Hartford. Since 2001, Ruth has recorded a series of instrumental CDs, a collection of Celtic, folk, sacred and classical melodies which feature her trademark golden tone and classical/crossover style. She completed her most recent CD, The Music of Life, in 2006, while undergoing successful treatment for ovarian cancer.
