An open letter to Tom Silvestri, President and Publisher of the Richmond Times-Dispatch and Richmond Police Chief Bryan T. Norwood…
Attention Tom Silvestri and Chief Norwood:
I am writing to ask questions about the last Richmond Times-Dispatch Public Square and also to find out if I should expect the same violations of my Constitutional rights at today’s event.
Tom Silvestri: You are the publisher of the RT-D and you say you do not know who ordered my removal by the police from the last RT-D public square. You also refuse to tell me who flipped the order from first come first serve (I arrived more than an hour before anyone else) to last come first served with at least one person who did not wait in line at all speaking at the event (Matt Geary). Should we expect anything different from today’s event? Will you again print things that you personally know are not true about Tuesday’s Public Square? Last time you printed that participants left without “escort of law enforcement” when in fact you saw members of the Richmond police remove me from the RT-D building. Despite arriving first and following all the instructions set forward by the RT-D, I was removed by the police and all you said was “I am sorry you have a legitimate complaint.”
To Chief Norwood: According to the Richmond Police Department officers that removed me from the last RT-D Public Square, they were acting upon orders of the “organizers of the event.” Who ordered my removal? This fits into a documentable pattern of violations of citizens’ First Amendment rights by RPD officers following unconstitutional orders from outside the chain of command. I spoke with John Venuti only seconds after being removed by RPD officers and he at least acted surprised when he heard about what had happened and suggested I inform the press. Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn’t Venuti be kept apprised of situations such as congressional staffers or RT-D employees giving orders to RPD officers to remove someone from an event? Are staffers of members of Congress or RT-D employees part of the RPD chain of command?
I am asking these questions because when my constitutional rights are violated through police intimidation and when provable falsehoods are printed to disguise events based on censorship as “public squares,” I get concerned about the ability of the citizens of this country to participate in a free society. Although the RPD and the RT-D seem not to respect the Constitution, it is still the basis of the rule of law in this country.

Misery Profiteers Only Ones to Win on November 3rd
Virginians are preparing to vote in another election for the purpose of perpetrating the grand lie that we the citizens of this state and country have any control of our criminal government. To begin any serious discussion about the deceitful politicians from the Republican and Democratic parties, we must acknowledge that they are prostitutes to amongst others Northrop Grumman, Dominion Power and Verizon. That is correct. Ronald Sugar, Tom Farrell and Ivan Seidenberg have a stable of ho’s in Richmond and Deeds and McDonnell are competing to be their Bottom Bitch.
Ronald Sugar is the boss of weapons maker Northrop Grumman and will enter his retirement in January with a golden parachute he has earned by fleecing Virginia and US tax payers. Sugar and Northrop Grumman, since receiving the largest ever contract in Virginia’s history, have failed to meet any of the benchmarks set forward in the one-sided contract written to benefit the corporate giant. The contract was written by a law firm now owned by McGuire Woods which, according to Jeff E. Shapiro of the Richmond Times-Dispatch, is the “seat of Virginia’s shadow government.” Sugar and NG violated this contract. They also silenced dissent by firing Lem Stewart when he exposed NG’s underperformance and overcharging sending the message that Northrop Grumman is accountable to no one.
Tom Farrell, top fat cat at monopoly energy company Dominion Power, lines his pockets by carrying out environmentally-destructive practices like mountain top removal, building a new coal burning power plant and routinely releasing cancer-causing tritium, xenon, krypton and argon into our atmosphere from Dominion’s nuclear power plants. To add insult to planetary destruction, the energy company is gouging its customers with rate increases from 18 to 40 percent which were approved by Dominion front group, the State Corporation Commission. Not only can Farrell and Dominion blow the tops off of mountains and poison its customers, they also can charge customers ever increasing fees.
Ivan Seidenberg is the top dog at telecom giant Verizon. While he eliminates jobs and cuts pay for workers he rewards himself with increasingly large compensation packages. Seidenberg and Verizon, in clear violation of the First and Fourth amendments to the US Constitution, gave the National Security Agency direct access to their vast database of communications. No matter. Ivan’s Democratic and Republican friends in Congress wrote legislation to make unconstitutional actions legal and give retroactive immunity to Seidenberg and other telecom executives.
Sugar, Farrell and Seidenberg and the institutions they control promote and profit from illegal wars, ecological devastation and spying on Americans. This clearly makes them enemies of the people of Virginia and America. Sugar, Farrell and Seidenberg are part of a small sliver of the population that is driving our species to the brink of extinction through aggressive wars and eco-terrorism and an Orwellian police state made possible by illegal spying. It is past time for revolution and past time for these misery profiteers to be locked up.
Tom Silvestri and the RT-D -- Not Journalists, Just Yellow
“They lined up early. They listened without booing. And they left in an orderly fashion -- without shouting, fighting or the escort of law enforcement.” This was the narrative created by the Times-Dispatch regarding the RT-D Healthcare Public Square. It is true, as reported by the RT-D, though I was not mentioned by name, that I arrived for the first time at 9 pm Sunday night. Seeing no one there I left and returned at 4:40 am, Monday morning… more than an hour before anyone else. However, despite following all the instructions given by the event organizers I was not only prevented from speaking, I was also removed unceremoniously by the Richmond Police Department after the event as I was talking to Moderator and RT-D publisher Tom Silvestri.
I was displeased not only with the RTD setting an order for speaking and then at the last minute switching the order but also with the incorrect information reported by the Times-Dispatch.
Tom Silvestri was the logical place in my mind to begin investigating why I was prevented from speaking and taken out by cops. My obvious first question was why were slips of paper given to participants 1 through 225 in order of arrival at this first come first serve event followed by instructions to sit in the front of the room near the microphone? And why were these instructions changed by an announcement within minutes before the event began? The new instructions were to line up in the hall in the back of the room…something only latecomers could do. Silvestri’s response stated that the numbered cards set the order only to get into the event, and that the fire marshal had said that lining up behind the microphone would cause a fire hazard. This was a puzzling answer considering that questioners during the Healthcare Public Square formed a line behind the microphone blocking the aisles. I then asked Silvestri if the fire marshal had ordered the change in instructions. His response…”No”. This is good because the biggest fire hazard occurred when organizers created a mad rush to the room’s exit by announcing that a line was forming in the hallway for those who wanted to speak.
My next question concerned who did decide to change the order. Tom’s response…he refused to answer. I of course asked why he was refusing to answer such a simple question. Silvestri then accused me of trying to make this into a conspiracy—not a bad response when you don’t want to answer a simple question. After reiterating the time of arrival, the numbers handed out, the first instructions that benefited the first come-first serve event and the change that benefited latecomers, I asked again for some kind of explanation that made sense. Nothing.
I then asked Silvestri why I was removed by the police when I had done nothing wrong. His response. “I don’t know.” I ended my conversation with Silvestri by stating that he was a coward. He said that is your opinion. Well that certainly is my opinion and I believe it is shared by many others.
I then contacted Jim Nolan whose name appeared in the byline of the article in the Richmond Times-Dispatch about the forum. I wondered what he would say about the false information. When I pointed out the contradictions, especially the one about my being removed by the police, he responded that I was removed after the event. This parsing of words seemed to make a difference to him. He did however apologize for incorrect information, using the worst excuse of a reporter…”I was unaware what I wrote was incorrect.” After I then pointed out to him that I tried to get his attention after the event and that the correct information was on a blog, he scoffed at the idea of using a blog to verify information. But in this case it may have led him to the truth. Then I questioned Nolan about the fact that Matt Geary spoke to the members of Congress without waiting in line at all. Nolan responded that there were some invited guest speakers. This allegation was not reported by anyone at the RT-D. I asked if Nolan knew Geary. He responded no. I did not believe that so I questioned Nolan again. To which he replied that he did know Matt Geary.
The reporting from the Times-Dispatch and the way the Public Square was conducted was a textbook case of the media, the government and so called law enforcement controlling an event while portraying it as an open forum for public debate. This controlled event through manipulation and intimidation prevented even the mention of the root problem of our criminal government. Institutions like the medical industry and the Pentagon own politicians. And the monetary source of these institutions, the Federal Reserve Bank, acts with no oversight. These institutions and the sociopaths that run them need to be held accountable by the American people.

Political Tricks & Intimidation at the RT-D Healthcare Public Square
“Congressmen Scott and Congressman Cantor, I believe in following the money. The monetary source for the medical industry, the Pentagon and other institutions that control the US government is the Federal Reserve Bank which lends out trillions of dollars without disclosing where the loans go or what the collateral is. I have two questions for the both of you. How do you respond to people like me who claim you are bought and paid for by the moneyed interests that control our government like the medical industry and the Pentagon? And how are the American people supposed to trust a central bank that behaves like a ponzi scheme? “ I planned to ask these questions to the Congressmen at the The Times-Dispatch Health Care Public Square. I didn’t. But not because I arrived late. I was waiting in line at 4:40AM, over an hour before the next person showed up. I was given a piece of paper with the #1 on it. I then followed all the guidelines for people wanting to ask questions given by the organizers which was to sit near the microphone at the front of the room. I was closer to the microphone than anyone else. So what happened to the “first come, first serve” rule that was advertised by the Times-Dispatch?
After I had taken a seat, Dana Millbank of the Washington Post interviewed me because I was the first person to the event. We then discussed the questions that I was going to ask Scott and Cantor. Some minutes later an announcement was made that anyone who wanted to ask a question needed to form a line in the hallway which was in the back of the room. This is significant because those who arrived early, had the first numbers on their arrival order and had followed all instructions to that point, were in the front of the room near the microphone.
I got out to the hall as quickly as possible, but of course, because I had followed the previous instructions, I was no longer first…I was seventeenth. This change in plans rewarded the latecomers. When I asked a RT-D staff member about the change and shuffling the order, she replied that this is the way we are doing this now. I responded that this did not answer my question.
When the event began, I was hoping many people would get a chance to talk to the congressmen. However, it was clear that in order for those who arrived early and followed instructions to speak, the forum would have to last an additional two hours. This was in part because the RT-D did not enforce their own rule of a two minutes limit for each questioner. Some questioners had 15 min at the microphone. This was a shame too, because most of the people who arrived early had insightful questions whereas the latecomers seemed not to even know their facts.
When it was clear I would not get a chance to speak, I began telling an RT-D official sitting directly to my left that I thought it was unfair that I and others who arrived early did not get a chance to speak. He paused and then replied with an extended “Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!”, which was much louder than my question to him. I told him that I did not appreciate his response and I wanted to discuss the flipping of the script afterwards. I did not see him again. However, after the event, I did approach the moderator, Tom. I explained that I and others who had arrived earliest and followed instructions given by the RT-D organizers had been shafted. He responded by saying “I am sorry you have a legitimate complaint.”
I then noticed several Richmond Police and other security closing in on me. I turned and asked the policemen sneaking up on my right hand side “What’s going on?” The policeman on my left side said “Are you ready to leave?” I responded by asking again, “What was going on?” During this time I was neither loud nor disruptive. I was then ordered to follow the police out of the room. Before the event, RT-D security had confiscated my bike pump which I had been traveling with since I had a slow leak in my bicycle tube. I requested my pump back and the officers refused to give it to me until we got outside. Were these men with guns, most of whom were much larger than I, afraid of an unarmed citizen? As I was being removed, I asked the police if I needed to call a lawyer, where they were taking me and also why I was being removed. The police refused to answer all questions. When we were officially off RT-D property, I was told the organizers of the event wanted me removed because they did not like something I said earlier. Since I was not allowed to speak, I can’t imagine what that could be. Perhaps they were referring to my vocal criticism of Congressmen Scott, Cantor and the RT-D.
Are we going to continue to accept these undemocratic intimidation tactics from our government, the media, and the police whose duty it is to uphold the Constitution?

Follow the Money - This is Where it Leads
The Federal Reserve Bank and the Pentagon have a stranglehold on the US government. Their respective bosses, Ben Bernanke and Robert Gates, are dangerously increasing their control. The American people were promised change. Instead, we received a crash course in Orwellian doublespeak.
Bernanke -- the person most responsible for the economic meltdown -- and Gates – the person overseeing the illegal wars that have resulted in war crimes and unsustainable debt -- have been reappointed by merchant of “change,” Barack Obama. Of course, anyone paying attention does not see anything but more of the same. And in the case of the authority of the Fed and Pentagon spending, things are getting worse for most Americans.
The Federal Reserve Bank, which operates in violation of Article I section 8 of the US Constitution, has no oversight and lends out trillions of dollars without disclosing where the loans go or what the collateral is. The fact that the institution that has the most control over our economy operates in the shadows does not instill confidence. The Fed has regulatory powers over banks which were allowed to engage in bound-to-fail policies such as predatory lending and derivatives trading. These policies brought banks to the brink of failure in September 2008.
Enter the US taxpayer. We were told we must bail out the banks because the banks were too big to fail. We were told that if taxpayer dollars were not funneled into the banks we would experience the next great depression. The financial system would collapse. Congressman Brad Sherman even stated on the House floor that members of Congress were threatened with Martial Law if the bailout was not passed.
Fast forward to now. The banks that were too big to fail are bigger. The institutions on the brink of failure are making huge profits. And there is an even larger gap between the rich and the rest of us in this country than there was during the Great Depression. It seems the only thing Bernanke has learned in his lifetime of studying the Great Depression is how to consolidate money and power at the top during artificial bubbles of his own creation.
While most institutions have had their budgets slashed during this current financial collapse, the Pentagon received its largest budget ever. Somehow the criminal multi-trillion dollar wars and occupations in Iraq and Afghanistan receive increasing budgets and bottomless war supplementals. The Pentagon and its army of media propagandists have hit the American public with a full court press of untruths and false logic such as escalation in troop levels will lead to a reduction in troop levels.
The war crimes Gates, David Patraeus and Stanley McCrystal are committing are vile and embarrassing to all human beings with a conscience. They not only include genocide and torture but also a child prostitution ring engaged in by the mercenary group Xe (formerly Blackwater). Xe has had a smooth transition between the Bush and Obama administrations having contracts renewed guaranteeing a monetary reward for sadistic and criminal behavior. Evidently, the Defense Secretary and others in government that hand out giant taxpayer-funded contracts have a high tolerance for child rape.
So what was the pretext given to the American people for these wars of aggression and subsequent occupations? The answer of course is the events of September 11, 2001. No serious debate can take place without acknowledging that elements of the US government were either criminally negligent or criminally complicit in the attacks. Unfortunately, we cannot go back in time and reverse the actions taken by our government leading up to those fateful moments. We can, however, hold individuals and criminal institutions accountable for Violations of the Constitution and international law.
Those Americans working in the Federal Reserve Banking system and Defense department must understand that their leaders, Bernanke and Gates, have committed High Treason against this country. Unless they work to hold these criminals accountable for their crimes, employees at these institutions can be considered nothing short of enemies of the US Constitution and therefore enemies of the American People.
The Treason of Eric Cantor
I could not help laughing at the irony when I received an invitation to a job fair put on by Eric Cantor whose policies have destroyed American jobs to benefit multi-national corporations. I was not surprised. Cantor showed no shame when he exchanged money with known child predator Congressman Foley while simultaneously portraying himself as a family values Republican. And he exemplified this verbal diarrhea when he compared Congressman Jim Moran to Hitler merely because Moran correctly pointed out that the AIPAC lobby had too much control over US foreign policy. All the while, Cantor – whose voting record in support of illegal wars of aggression, torture and illegal wiretapping violates the Nuremburg Principals set forward to punish Nazi war criminals -- seems to want the US government to repeat the crimes Nuremburg tried to prevent.
Eric Cantor does the bidding of multi-national corporations and foreign governments like Israel and carries out the agenda of billionaire Sheldon Adelson. Adelson donates gobs of personal money as well as funds from the Interface Group which is the largest campaign contributor to Cantor. Adelson spends millions lobbying for the continuation of the illegal occupation of Iraq and pushing for military aggression against Iran.
Unfortunately, Cantor has a long list of treasonous co-conspirators in government as well as the private sector. Many of the institutions participating in the job fair are guilty of treason against the American people. The list of employers hiring reads like a “who’s who” of known terrorist groups such as the CIA, FBI, DIA and the DEA. These groups carry out crimes against the US Constitution and the people of the world. The leadership of these pawns of the corporate structure are guilty of treason.
The Military Industrial Complex is represented as well. Producers of weapons of mass destruction, Boeing and Northrop Grumman always need workers because 51 cents out of every US tax dollar goes to military spending. (Not to mention the money NG is stealing from the tax payers of Virginia). This is also why every branch of service will be out trying to find Americans to help carry out the terrorist agenda of the multi-national Banking, Arms and Energy industries that control the US military.
The thieves in the so-called Health Care Industry will also be at Cantor’s job fair. Despite having more per capita spending than any other country, they leave America ranking behind all other industrialized nations in life-expectancy. And last but not least, Dominion Energy will be there. This company destroys the planet for profit making its CEO Tom Ferrell an eco-terrorist.
I urge Patriotic Americans to infiltrate these un-American institutions to work to enforce the Constitution and convict its leadership of treason. This will save lives and restore the Constitution which has been suspended by the criminal inhabitants of our government.
I am requesting a meeting with Cantor to address these issues. I will request that, like our meeting with Congressman Scott, the meeting with Cantor be videotaped. A friendly suggestion to the 7th district’s current congressman: like Congressman Scott, bring legal counsel.

Why taxpayers continue to fund war crimes
The illegal wars of aggression and subsequent war crimes committed by the US government and the institutions that control it are now being led by Obama and the Democratic Congress. The recent 106 billion dollar war supplemental received yea votes from all Democratic members of Congress from Virginia. As a result, more of our hard-earned money will be spent killing and terrorizing the people of Iraq and Afghanistan. Because of the policies of both the Republican and Democratic executive and legislative branches of our government, we, the US tax payers, have paid for the murders of more than one million human beings -- not to mention the torture that both parties carried out. All these facts make clear that the United States government and the institutions that run it are the most terrorist entities on the planet. Our government, the Federal Reserve Bank and the Pentagon are full of terrorist fugitives from justice.
The amoral sociopaths from the Republican and Democratic parties continue to fund these illegal wars of aggression because they prostitute themselves out to members of the military industrial complex like Northrop Grumman. Self-proclaimed anti-war congressman Bobby Scott, who joined the ranks of US government war criminals by voting for the 106 billion dollar war supplemental, seems to come through for his biggest campaign donor, Northrop Grumman, when they need him.
Speaking of Northrop Grumman’s ho’s, I spoke to DNC Chair and Virginia governor Tim Kaine at the Byrd House farmers’ market. It was difficult to get through Kaine’s hangers-on and security, but when I did, I asked him if there was any reason why Lem Stewart was fired as head of the VITA besides informing the Board that Northrop Grumman was overcharging the tax payers and being in breach of contract with the Commonwealth. He replied that Stewart’s contract had expired and he was working month-to-month. I then asked Tim if he was saying the information written in the Richmond Times Dispatch article by Shapiro and Meola was erroneous. He stated that he did not read it. I said the Northrop Grumman contract was bad from the beginning and that the reason this charter member of the military industrial complex controls the IT infrastructure of state agencies was because they gave Kaine a lot of money -- over $76,000 to Tim’s campaigns. I further stated that he was beholden to the multi-national energy and arms industries. Kaine did not respond and began walking off. As he was leaving, I shouted “you know it is true Tim!” Since this discussion, more evidence of Northrop Grumman’s theft of tax dollars and incompetence is mounting. Republicans and Democrats alike are bought and paid for by the multi-national banking, arms and energy industries -- not to mention food and insurance conglomerates. They, without conscience, commit tyranny against the citizens of all countries, including this one. Our government, and the entities that control it, act in a terrorist fashion. The vast majority of Democrats and Republicans, the leadership in the pentagon and the Bush and Obama regimes have committed war crimes. Using the US Constitution and international law as a measuring stick, they are fugitives from justice.
Many high ranking Federal Reserve, corporate and government officials have committed treason. They care nothing about average Americans and feed their endless lust for money and power through manipulation and murder. Using the Constitution and international law as our tools, the American people and the justice-seeking people of the world need to dismantle the current criminal power structure.
I Am Voting None of the Above
I cannot vote for any of the candidates for my party’s nomination for governor because they are prostitutes for the entities that destroy the planet, enslave its inhabitants through debt and terrorize through military aggression. I asked the three about Northrop Grumman’s control of the IT infrastructure of Virginia’s state agencies and received disturbing answers.
I first broached the subject to Deeds at a Richmond Democratic Committee meeting. I asked Deeds if he thought it was good that the Commonwealth’s IT infrastructure was controlled by Northrop Grumman which is a military contractor. He first said he didn’t understand the question. I repeated myself and he said he was unaware of the contract. I replied that he should know about the biggest contract awarded in Virginia’s history: $2 Billion to Northrop Grumman.
Next I approached Moran at the 2008 7th Congressional District Convention. I told Moran that Deeds said he was unaware of the IT contract with Northrop Grumman. I asked if Moran was aware and what his thoughts were. He stated that he was aware and abruptly walked away.
I talked to McAuliffe in Richmond at The Camel. I started the discussion by stating I am disgusted with the criminal behavior of the leaders of my political party. I then said members of the Democratic Party were complicit and aware of violations of domestic and international law in regard to torture. He replied “Guantanamo Bay is closed and torture is over.” I reminded him that the fact is Guantanamo Bay is open and according to many international organizations, treatment for detainees at US prisons in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay are getting worse. I further said I would like to hear his thoughts about leaders of the Democratic Party that were being extensively informed by the CIA, the media and citizens about subjects like torture and illegal wiretapping while he was chairman of the DNC. I also mentioned that the current attorney general, Eric Holder, personally signed orders for rendition during the presidency of his close friend, Bill Clinton. McAuliffe replied “this isn’t the time or place to discuss this.” I responded that I wanted an answer. I then asked his opinion about Northrop Grumman’s control of our state’s IT infrastructure. He again responded with “this is not the time or the place.” I said I wanted him on the record and that I was a Democratic primary voter. He said that he would discuss these things with me over a cup of coffee next time he was in town. I told him I wanted to hear his answer and that I did not believe him. He assured me all I had to do was call his office and they would set up a time. I called the office twice and talked to four staffers and received a call from another. However, I never got answers to these important questions or a cup of coffee.
These politicians will sell out the safety of the planet and its inhabitants to the highest corporate bidders. We should stop tolerating the destruction of our habitat and the war crimes that we pay for. It is time to stand up to our criminal government.

The O’Gara Group which is in the business of training and employing mercenaries, wants to put a training camp in pristine Shenandoah county. This destructive company, if given the chance, will turn 900 acres of the county into fire ranges, high speed chase tracks and weapons storage. The O’Gara Group trains our local state and federal law enforcement professionals in paramilitary tactics like its better known partner in crime Blackwater (now known as Xe). We at RVA4Peace do not intend to allow this terrorist training camp on our soil. Dominion Power Eco Terrorists
On April 18th, Blue Ridge Earth first and RVA4Peace held a protest at the Dominion Power-sponsored Richmond Earth Day Festival. Prior to the event, there was an attempt to have the festival refuse money from mega-polluter Dominion, however that idea was overruled by event organizer John Zuegner who for some inexplicable reason is chair of the Fall of the James chapter of the Sierra Club while also bending over backwards for Dominion’s PR team to spread lies about clean coal and safe nuclear power. The action was called to show that, like the vast majority of our elected officials, the mainstream environmental movement has been bought out by Dominion. Unfortunately, Tom Farrell, CEO and President of Dominion, cares nothing about terrorizing the planet through mountain top removal, dirty coal and nuclear waste because it makes himself, the whoreish politicians and the so called environmental leaders rich.
Minister of Misinformation
For those who do not know Phillip Zelikow, he was director of the 9-11 commission report. If we want to get to the bottom of the US government cover ups of the events of Sept 11, Phillip Zelikow is a good starting point. He is now alleging he wrote a memo while working for the State Department that opposed White House torture policy. He further claims the White House destroyed copies of his memo back in 2005. Zelikow mentioned nothing about this until last week, and stated that the White House was just doing their job by destroying the alleged memos. Zelikow has throughout his career shown himself to be dishonest and uses manipulation to further the goals of the global elite. He is paid by our tax dollars, ironically as history professor at the University of Virginia. Torture is wrong. Torture is a violation of domestic and international law. The US government was and is involved in torturing detainees. Anti-War Demonstration March 19th
To mark the sixth anniversary of the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq committed by our government, RVA4Peace is joining Defenders for Freedom, Justice and Equality; Pax Christi; Richmond Left Libertarian Alliance; Richmond Peace Education Center and the Virginia People's Assembly in calling on citizens to gather at the Federal Reserve Bank to demand an end to all US occupations. We have chosen the Federal Reserve Bank location because it is the monetary source that funds the unconstitutional war crimes that are currently being committed by our government.
RVA4Peace is demanding the following:
* WE DEMAND an end to all US government occupations.

David vs. Goliath
We join humane citizens of all nations in condemning the criminal actions the Israeli government has carried out against the people of Gaza. The horrific and unwarranted attacks are alleged by their perpetrators to protect the citizens of Israel, the opposite is true. The people of southern Israel are being used as shields for the criminals running the Israeli government.
We see this pattern used to justify the war crimes of the United States government. We taxpayers are told we have to give increasing funds for security which evidently includes slaughtering, torturing and wounding millions of mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers just like us. However, at a time when the multinational security state that alleges to protect us is ascendant in our governments and media, we are told that we have never been in more peril. The current and future head of the so-called Defense Department, Robert Gates, is advocating for a new arsenal of nuclear weapons. There are already enough nukes to destroy the planet many times over. The need for more could aptly be described as overkill if not for the disgusting profits made by those inside the Department of Defense and the multinational weapons producers. The multinational weapons producers are not loyal to one nation, religion or ethnic group. They are led only by their sociopathic lust for greed and power.
Although the vast majority of the people of the planet are victimized by the for-profit war machine, the ruling class needs the destabilizing forces of the Boeings and Northrop Grummans to maintain their wealth, power and authority. We believe the goliath of the multinational war machine will be defeated when the citizens of all nations become conscious that the enemies of peace and security are those directing the actions of the Federal Reserve Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the Pentagon, and hold the treasonous conspirators criminally accountable using the US Constitution and international law to enforce justice.

Letter to Senator Obama
Dear Senator Obama,
We have serious concerns about some of the votes you have cast and legislation you have sponsored since you became a member of the United States Senate. We strongly suggest you reverse course on many issues beginning with your votes to fund the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan that are bankrupting our country and our fellow citizens. We also urge you to work towards reinstating the Fourth Amendment that you helped render obsolete by voting to give retroactive immunity to the multinational telecommunications corporations that were illegally spying on our fellow citizens. We are demanding you cease sponsoring legislation that gives hundreds of billions to the coal industry which blows the tops off of mountains and contributes more to global warming than any other energy source.
We as Democratic voters are shocked that our nominee for president voted to reauthorize the Patriot Act and voted to confirm such US government war criminals as Chertoff, Gonzales, Rice and Negroponte. You have helped the ruling class at the expense of the average American worker by supporting the so-called bail out giving nearly a trillion dollars in tax payer money to the multinational banking industry.
We would love to support your candidacy, however, it seems your allegiance lies with the agenda of the military industrial complex, the energy industries and the multinational corporations over average American citizens. In the 2008 presidential contest between the criminals and the criminally insane, the most insane criminal was in our neck of the woods. Sarah Palin spoke in Richmond Monday, Oct 13th.

Obama and Kaine: Enemies of the People

Before I get started, let me make it clear that I think John McCain and his local vice presidential contender, Eric Canter, are both criminals. But today we are going to talk about other corporate politicians – Barack Obama and Tim Kaine.
OBAMA: Barack Obama voted to shield the multi-national telecommunications companies that were illegally spying on American citizens since before September 11, 2001. His vote on the new FISA bill to give retro-active immunity is a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution. Obama co-sponsored a bill in the Senate which proposed subsidies for the coal industry encouraging wider use of liquid coal. He has also consistently voted to continue funneling our tax dollars into the most insidious of corporate crimes -- the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan. It seems in words he is against the occupation of Iraq, however, in deed he is a proponent.
KAINE: Kaine shows a similar support for both coal and the military industrial complex. He has supported Dominion Virginia Power's new coal-burning power plant in Wise County. Coal is the carbon that most contributes to global warming. He has accepted in excess of $200,000 in campaign contributions from Dominion since 1994. In addition, he has flown around in a private jet owned by Dominion. Not surprisingly, Kaine's former legislative director, William L. "Bill" Murray is now working for Dominion as the managing director of Corporate Public Policy (lobbyist).
Kaine signed away the information technology infrastructure of the Commonwealth of Virginia to a charter member of the military industrial complex – Northrop Grumman. This $2 billion contract – the largest contract ever given away in Virginia – will give Northrop Grumman control of the IT for all state agencies. Kaine accepted $76,000 in campaign contributions from Northrop Grumman.
Spewing more coal into the atmosphere and giving our tax records over to a military contractor are not in the best interest of the citizens of this state or of our country. However, it is clear that Obama and Kaine care more about the interests of the arms and energy industry rather than American citizens. Along with their Republican counterparts, they are enemies of the people.
Who I'd like to meet: Our demonstrations honor the memory of Robert Ragin, Jr.
Robert Ragin, Jr. died in December. Many of you knew him from our rallies outside of Rep. Scott's office.
Robert was the man for the people, working hard to spread the word about impeachment, peace and AIDS prevention. He knew how to further our goals and pushed us to be more effective in communicating our ideas to people.
It was Robert's idea to have a demonstration on the day Congressman Kucinich brought H.Res.333 to the floor. That rally received front-page coverage by the Richmond Free Press and was also covered by the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Robert walked everywhere and although he was in constant pain, he kept a positive attitude and looked out for "his crew." He was a great man and he will be sorely missed. Our sincerest condolences go to his family.
