We were thinking about listing a bunch of bands that we think we sound like, but then we thought, that wont give a good idea to our sound. But what influences is pretty much anything that we see or hear that we like. Its general, but the best answer we could use.

LaRusso: The Artist Formerly Known as a band...
LaRusso started originally as Open Wide. We played our first show with a bunch of cover songs that included the misfits and spineshank. Then we wrote our own songs. We recorded a full length cd titled "Transparent" and sold a little over a hundred cds. And then we all grew up and got a real genre to our music and started writing a little more complicated and longer songs. Then afer months of trying to find a name six people could agree on, we set down the torch of Open Wide, and we changed our name to LaRusso. Our music is best classified as "tough guy screamo," that is, according to eddie. What we write is basically screamo with breakdowns, and lyrics about killing your girlfriends. (Actually, our music is slowly becoming more metal. A little bit at a time.( We write these songs because of eddie's previous time spent as a serial axe murderer. It might be a cliche genre, but fuck it. It's fun, and thats all we want. So come to our show, and have fun. and give us your money. We need it more than you do.
