About me: The Reykjavik to Foundation (r2) is a not-for-profit organization based in Iceland and Holland, that organizes Icelandic cultural events across the world. With these events, we aim to introduce a wider audience to contemporary Icelandic culture. R2 events brings unknown talent in focus. We provide them with an opportunity to perform outside the comforts of Reykjavik, generating a larger interest in their work from public, press, and industry.
At each event local volunteers help out in the organization and with assisting the involved artists, creating a sense of atmosphere and togetherness. The Reykjavik to Foundation is proud to be able to always bring this unique feeling of experiencing something together to everyone involved, volunteers, artists and audience.

Good news on the festival front I see! I'll be keeping an eye out for any developments. R2Rotterdam was so amazing I'll travel anywhere to be part of that again!
