Rui V. (aka) R.V. was born in the 5 October 1976 in Évora, where he grew up and started early to get involved in music and sounds.
With 10 years of age had some equipment; radio-cassette recorders, microphones and Timex 2048K (spectrum), which still holds, awakened to new sounds. Always with an avid curiosity for new music less commercial, from 14 years of age (the 1990s), started to buy some records (vinyl) through: punk rock, alternative rock, hard rock, grunge, post-punk, underground music, indie and acid house, which was the first contact with electronic music, (turntable and mixer desk), the weekly radio program that made with friends in High School where he studied.
In 1994 bought his first PC (personal computer), the first editing and production software's of electronic music and the first machine (Roland MC-303 groovebox) in 1996. Had a more serious approach to the turntable (Technics) and DJing with his friends, of which techniques learned through his ear, curiosity and development. House music, Techno and Acid are some aspects that lived for some time with friends, with their musical interests, cooperating with them and organized some private parties.
In late 90s, beginning of 2000 and therefore acquired more machines such as (Mackie 1202, Sony DAT), the second PC and its development takes him beyond even be invited to play in various places in Évora as: Club 16, the Bar Amas do Cardeal, Alçude, Capitulo 8 and Às de Copas. Marked its presence in Pita's Bar in Redondo, at Albufeira (Algarve) had the pleasure of playing in the historical and mythical Alabastro and in Bairro Alto (Lisbon) Groove Bar.
In some of his nights shared cabins with Deejay's national as well: Dj Chris San, Dj Funkat, Dj Barril, Dj Richard G., Dj Slot and Dj Fido. In addition to bars and clubs, participated and cooperated in private and public events. The music is constant and the rise of new technologies becomes more production machinery, continuing to play with vinyl at parties.
In 2007 created his first's "demos" to Myspace in order to participate and disseminate the electronic Portuguese scene going in the underground. Assiduously participated in 2008 in the musical program "Antena3danceclub" in National Radio Antena3 sending their "demos" and now continues to produce and make sound's even without publisher or label.
This is one of his passions and is sure to continue to shake the party-people with their eclectic set's.
