    so, i received the syrup in the mail . . . Saturday night / Sunday morning at 3:30 a.m., i sat down at the Majestic (my favorite late-night diner) with my girlfriend and a stack of flapjacks, and proceeded to pour the Vermont maple goodness all over (the pancakes!).
