This is not Ryan Fredericks' actual profile. This is a profile designed by his friends/family to help spread and support Ryan's innocence in the unintentional accident that has happened to him.
Ryan is a gentle, warm hearted, and hard working 28 year old who grew up in South Norfolk. He loves football, tending to his yard, animals, and hanging out with his close friends. Ryan tends to be startled easy.
Ryan is currently being held in the Chesapeake City jail for shooting at what he thought to be a burgler breaking into his house! He was already scared because someone else had broke into his house 3 days prior to the unfortunate and accidental event that happened on January 17th, 2008.
We know that Ryan has many supporters out there in the Tidewater area and some even out of state. We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support and love.
Who I'd like to meet: Joel Osteen, Mark Rypien, Kenny Chesney, & Jessica Simpson
happy valentines day ryan...i didn't know you too well in high school but just know that your story has touched people hearts everywhere. we have to look out for the good people in this world...and bad things happen to good people...that's the truth.
I'm so sorry about the jury's sentencing recommendation. I truly hope an appeal will help to reduce it. I can't even express how disappointed I am in our "justice" system. We are still pulling for Ryan and he will stay in our thoughts throughout this process.
My family and I are completely outraged at the verdict that was handed down to you today. As concerned members of your community, we have followed your ordeal from the beginning..I cant be more flummoxed by the jury's decision. We're hoping you get an appeal and during that time the truth will set you free. As cliche' as it sounds, stay strong!
Hang in there, It's almost over (this part anyway). I can't imagine what your going through. Just know Many people are carrying you in our thoughts, and prayers.
YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! What a WONDERFUL verdict. Now Ryan, go on with your life in another town. There will probably never be peace for you in Chesapeake! Congratulations
Would have loved complete vindication, but at least this way you can still have a fun loving free life. Just alittle longer wait possibly. There's light at the end of the tunnel.
