RYAN CROSBY/CUT THE CORD BIO- On the record at least, it's just me. I programmed the drums and synths, layered the guitars, some fretless bass, and most importantly, some words and melodies came out as well. These eleven songs are the result of a years worth of blood, sweat, and tears, and proved to be the most grown out of the fifty or so that were born. I actually have another album of dirty rock songs as well that should be out sometime in 2008. Also have been a member of various bands in the past, including Attached By Wires, VAST, The Network, and was also the guitar player of the house band at the infamous club Peanuts (you know, "Peanuts in LA, Bubbling at Dublins" from the Jay-Z song. Method quotes it too on a Missy song). As a session musician, I have been on records with Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, George Clinton, Praz, Fat Joe, Mya, Raekwon/Freeway, Mack 10, C-BO, The A-team (Aceyalone-Abstract Rude), Haiku De'tat, PEACE, Myka Nyne, Droop, Deordis and some others that are spread out on various hard drives throughout Southern Cali. I currently have a power trio that I play these songs with live. Also, for the record, no, David Crosby is not my father. At least that's what the courts say.

I was very busy musically in 2008, and the result is I am releasing three records this year. I have a serious personality disorder with music, as these next three entries may provide a clue to....
First one: The Mansion Boys/"Who Are The Mansion Boys?", an eight song EP featuring the crooning of Roger Cramden and the rapping of Criggin Jankin over some Private Ryan pop/hiphop/randb/rock beats. Up on Itunes in April.
Second one: Kid Whiskey-TBA. A ten song collection of songs from my rock band, featuring Neal Richter (dr), Mike Meeker (bs) and Robbie Pugliese (gtr). Classic meets modern, a focus on rock riffs blended with dubbed-out sounds. Record release party on 3/13, it will be available digitally soon....
Third one: my second solo record. yes, programmed beats, synths, definitely the brother to CUT THE CORD. Tentatively titled "The Story of Your Life", it will feature two of the songs already on this page, "Wants The Night" and "Always Makes Me High". This record is a continued exploration lyrically of the dark sides of life with an increased attempt to find the light at the end of the tunnel. I am so proud of how this one is shaping up, I can't wait to get this one done as well. June/July release...
