My music is the passion that drives me. I love to perform, and while doing so, I try to make every member of the audience feel like they are the most important person there. It has always been like that, whether I was performing before my fellow classmates in high school or for the thousands of fans during my tour with “Tops in Blue.”
I served as a proud member of the United States Air Force for 9½ years. I was deployed to the Middle East several times to serve in our fight for freedom overseas. While in the service, I was selected to join the elite musical touring group “Tops in Blue.” As a featured vocalist, I performed many solos throughout the show, as well as, intricate acappella pieces with the male quartet. Additionally, I performed the demanding choreography required. As a member of this prestigious musical production, presented by the Air Force, I was able to tour all over the world entertaining an estimated 250,000 troops and civilians alike. This opportunity led to me meeting my producer, Barry Best.
In August of 2005, I left the military to pursue my dream of music. Like many artists who take odd jobs at restaurants while waiting for their big break, I began working at a speed shop, worked as a karaoke jockey, and performed in a local run of “Best Little Whore House in Texas.”
In July of 2007, I began a mini-tour of BXs that are associated with military installations. I began my tour in Florida at Patrick Air Force Base and through the contacts that were made was able to perform at Shades of Green, the military resort at Disney World. After the first performance at Shades of Green, I was asked to come back and do an encore performance for the military families. I did several more bases in Florida before wrapping up the tour in Georgia where I performed at Moody Air Force Base and Robins Air Force Base.. I also teamed up with Wal-Mart and Coca-Cola to perform at the grand openings of their stores and other venues. I performed throughout North Carolina as well as Tennessee. While in Tennessee, I had the opportunity to perform with his band at the World Famous “Tootsies” in Nashville for two nights.
During 2008 the band and I competed in a “Battle of the Bands” that Bodog supports. There were 10,000 bands world-wide that entered the competition. The Ryan Daniel Band was the only country band to make it to the finals before the television series aired.
From 2007- 2009 I has worked to finish my full album Love Life and Memories. The full album was mix and mastered in San Antonio, Texas and then sent to Disc Makers for production. Upon full completion, the CDs were sent to me and are now available for purchase through his website (www.ryandaniel.org). Whether you need a song to party to, want to remember that one true love, or want to feel the patriotism that our country embraces this CD has it all! Be the first to say that you have one of these awesome albums!
Currently I am working to set up a new tour that includes Wal-Mart and AAFES locations, as well as other venues. Be sure to check out my site under Tour to see when I will be coming your way! You won’t want to miss this ride.
