Bio
.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .... ...... ...."His poignant lyrics and eclectic rhythms are beautifully orchestrated, making his music original and incredibly captivating. Up close, Ryan is an enigmatic artist whose passion for music infects anyone within a few feet of him." ..- SWAG Magazine.... .. .. .."Musicians that feel what they perform are easy to come by, musicians that write memorable lyrics and captivating hooks are rare." ..- Doyle Osburn - DJ @ KLBJ Austin, TX.... .... It’s easy to put people into categories when they follow a recipe to there sound; this is not the case with Ryan DeSiato. Diversity is a hallmark of his style. Whether it be rock, folk, pop, classical guitar or world music, his ability to take from the genre’s he loves and translate it into his own creation is a talent uniquely his own. The direct result of this is two new releases slated for the end of 2010. .. ..Working out of his home studio in Austin He’s currently finishing up the two projects. One is a tribute to his appreciation of acoustic based music, the other a brash and contemporary take on modern rock. .. From heart felt ballads to angry cries for redemption, there is a sense of personal and social conscience in his song writing that strives for honesty at all costs. Beautiful, contemporary poetry all laid over rich soundscapes ranging from adventurous, almost other worldly music textures to straightforward, simple production. Whether it be lyrics of complete vulnerability or a ‘you’ll never take me alive’ kind of optimism his words soothe the beast while feeding it its daily ration….. ..It’s not all heavy emotion and burden purging though, these new albums contain everything from light solo instrumental sonatas with spoken word parts to well thought out pieces of Ryan’s desire to make something greater than himself. From his study of voice to his never ending search for guitar melodies and songwriting methods, He is first and foremost an artist committed to his craft. After releasing 4 albums worth of material he has realized that the true nature of the art he’s trying to create has to take control and be the driving force behind the desire. It takes time. It’s been 4 years since he’s put out a new record; this time has been perhaps the closest he’s gotten to truly finding his sound. It will take two albums of material to rein him in and give the listener a taste of his range. This coming year’s releases will lay him out and expose him fully as an artist should be, honest and complete..... ...... .. .. .... .. ...... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ...... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... ...... .. ........ .. .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .... .... .. .. ...... ........ ...... ........ .. .. -
