Anything and everything, really. I'll work whatever style i'm liking that week into my music.
I am currently using: Ludwig/Sonor/Mapex drums, Paiste/Istanbul/Wuhan/Zildian/Sabian cymbals, Pearl Eliminator pedals, Regal Tip sticks and brushes, Mike Balter marimba/vibraphone mallets, Benares style tabla, Mike Baker timpani mallets, Washburn bass, Eden amp, Apple Macbook, Ableton Live, AKG/Shure mics, MOTU Traveler Audio Interface.
Professional Percussionist, Drummist, Composer, and Instructor. Studied drums since age 6 with Roger Strange, percussion since grade 12 with Jim Faraday. Received a BA focus in music at Dalhousie University. Currently studying Benares tabla with Shawn Mativetsky. Played in bands, musicals, symphonies, ensembles, quartets, trios, and solo since I can remember. Adaquate on a bass, and can harmonize and carry a tune better than most professional vocalists (when I want to:)).
