Various bassists, but a smattering of my influences include:
Ray Brown, Chris Wood, Edgar Meyer, Dave Holland, Charles Mingus, Ron Carter, Charlie Haden, Paul Chambers, and Rufus Reid for double bass. For electric bass: Chris Wood (again!) John Paul Jones, Geddy Lee, Roger Waters, Chuck Rainey, Nathan East, James Jamerson, Scott Thunes, Michael Rhodes, Mike Gordon, George Porter Jr., Rocco Prestia, Pino Palladino, Jaco Pastorious (of course!). In addition to this, I've found inspiration in the playing and pedagogy of my past & present bass teachers, Ray Riendeau, Dale Titus, Gaelen McCormick, Jeff Campbell and Fred Stone.

An amalgamation of my influences. While striving for a personal voice on the bass, I'm influenced by some of the great jazz, classical and folk double bassists.
“The Greatest Happiness is to scatter your enemy and drive him before you. To see his cities reduced to ashes. To see those who love him shrouded and in tears. And to gather to your bosom his wives and daughters.”
