Is a van a prerequisite for a band?
I like to play with Rob Hill on bass, Ben Morrow on drums (when he is not playing cruise ships--wtf?), Jared Goodpaster, et al.
Actually, I don't play with any of these guys anymore. Ben lives in Seattle, Rob's too busy with his other "band", and Jared usually has chores to do.
I am currently trying to teach my dog Molly to play the drums. Things are going along swimmingly. We are also working on some sweet dance moves to go along with our show... though I admit, when it comes to Molly's dancing--I've seen better steps on a ladder.
Influences
I like Ladytron, Duran Duran, Josh Ritter, Darren Smith, Mark Geary, etc. It's all good.
I'm also influenced by the weather. Sometimes tremendously so.
Sounds Like
I like Gs, Cs, and Ds... with the occasional F, Am, and Em... other than that, use a capo...
Update: currently I can only play power chords. Stitches prevent me from using all my fingers. So, I really like: G5, C5, and D5. Carter Freeman stole my capo.
Experts have noticed a worldwide decline in the consumer availability of hot chocolate, red vines, and Tapatio since Ryan first began teething.
Oh yeah, and breakfast isn't served here anymore. Get ready to get brunched--brunched in the face.
