Band MembersI'm currently gigging with these fine musicians: Evan Purcell, Peter Davidson, Doug Mackey and Charley Rowan. Come see us at a club sometime. _____________________________________________________________________________ A group of fine musicians also played on my CD "Kick the Dirt." I really enjoyed recording the music with them. I also wish them all good luck with their various endeavors - check out their music as well. _____________________________________________________________________________ Johnny Sangster produced and recorded at Chromasound and Crackle Pop! _____________________________________________________________________________ The musicians on the recording are: Evan Purcell - lead and slide guitar, backing vocals; Jim Sangster - bass; Mark Pickerel - drums; Terrill Bailie - piano and organ. ____________________________________________________________________________ Additional musicians are: Johnny Sangster (of course) guitars, percussion and backing vocals; Margrethe Bjorklund - pedal steel; and Andy Bartels - banjo. (I played the banjo part on Sunshine so don't blame him for that one please.) _____________________________________________________________________________ It was mastered by Mark Guenther at Seattle Disc Mastering. A good guy who does good work.

The Tiger  Lounge is the new hip place. Located in Georgetown right near the Seattle Design Center on S. Orcas just off of 4th Ave S.

Bra's for the Cause (with Howlin' Houndog & Joey "The Saint" & the A-Men)
17 Oct 2009, 09:00 PM -
The Tiger Lounge
412 S Orcas St
Seattle, Washington 98108

OK so we have been nice and pretty so far, but now it is time to get "down & dirty"! Howlin' Houndog & The Infamous Loosers will be playing with our sax player's band Joey "The Saint" and the A-Men at Tiger Lounge down in Georgetown here in Seattle on Saturday Oct 17th.

Joey "The Saint" and the A-men will be serving up the nastiest (but tasteful) "Dirty Blues" and warming up the crowd for the "Bras for the Cause" charity auction to support the fight against Breast Cancer. Then Joey will play with Howlin' Houndog in the Infamous Loosers (along with their full Horn Section!) Shakin' it down all night!

Come give us (and "Bras for the Cause") your support!

See you there!

Hello again,

Four more little sonic gems for your August pleasure are now available on the site. Blitzen Trapper, Boulder Acoustic Society, Jay Brannan and The Wiyos. Yet another fine quartet even though we say so ourselves as picked them out.

Hey Ryan, Thanks! I enjoyed listening to you the last time. As for me I don't have any music (only in my head), just a BIG indie supporter. I do PR work for a band out of Nashville, Wide Eyed Sleeper. Bob and I met through a mutual friend, Matt Palka when Matt was on the show last summer. Guess you would call me Bob's 3rd ear.. always sending new artist his way. Today he is featuring 4 bands that I sent his way! What a great service that man does.. Luv him dearly! Thanks again, I will keep in touch! Keep smiling and keep the music flowing from the heart!
Hugs,
Me ;)
