One of Eastern Canada’s most talented artists, Ryan Robert’s star has risen to a whole new sky and will be pursuing new opportunities by collaborating more closely with fellow songwriters and other leading Nashville based music artists.
A leading session artist and producer operating his own studio in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Ryan Roberts is an award-winning songwriter, born and raised in Cape Breton. His songs have been recorded in the styles of bluegrass, country, jazz, and R&B. He has composed instrumental scores for film, as well as jingles for commercial radio. His versatility and passion for excellence has allowed him to make a very successful living writing, performing and producing music in Eastern Canada.
At the Eastern Canadian Bluegrass Awards, Ryan was awarded "Songwriter of the Year for 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. His songs have been recorded by "Rose Cousins (PEI)" and new country artist "Kevin Davison (NS)", as well as fellow bluegrass artists: "The Spinney Brothers" (NS), "True Blue "(NB), "Machaela Taylor and Borderline Bluegrass" (NS), "Justin Carbone" (USA), "Jeanette Williams Band" (USA), and many others.
