wow I had no idea when I added you that you were the same Ryan from the LOGO documentary I just watched a few weeks ago...your such an inspiration. My name is Mitch by the way I am genderqueer I transitioned for a year about 2 yrs ago but then recanted I got scared it played with my head. now I am in a committed relationship and fear that my thoughts of surgery will ruin everything. how did it change your relationship? any thoughts would help
I just want to say thank you for being understanding and patient with me, with our campus. I am so excited to finally get to hear you speak and finally be able to meet you. I am very eager to have the students hear from you and be educated, our campus needs this so much. I know at least 10 students that are so excited, that when I pitched the idea to them, their eyes widen and couple got goose bumps, and the questions began with when, where, will we be able to ask him questions about how he knew.
I just want to say thank you for what you do, thank you for being one of the few people I know that are willing to talk about their life and be able to share with others, that may never get this chance ever again.
I've always been one for adventure, change and trying new things. Lately, I feel I've been stuck in a routine that has stifled a lot of the important aspects of me...so I'm trying to figure out how I can crawl out of this stuck state. On a professional level, I'm a public speaker (who doesn't live in a van down by the river...yet). I'm also a writer, who is currently working on a book about my transition. With the expenses that come with transitioning, my life is filled with work and more work in order to stay a float, but when I do have free time I work out, hang out with my sweetie and our pets, and take in what nature has to offer us.
A Peek at where I've traveled to speak:
