The fans loved her and the media predicted that she would be one of America's next female superstars. DJ's across the states were broadcasting over and over "Ryan Starr was hot!" She not only had the looks but also was extremely talented. At the conclusion of American Idol, Ryan went on a 32 city US arena tour with other Idol stars. Her fan base was growing and the demand for her was high. All the radio stations, TV programs, magazines etc. were requesting Ryan. Starr has been extremely selective on the projects she chooses, and has done some of the best. She appeared on the cover of top magazines, modeling campaigns, and on major entertainment shows. .. Her fame continued to grow and in 2004 was asked to be a feature on VH1's Surreal Life. This show gave Ryan an opportunity to show her true colors. She did not want to be a manufactured pop act, but she wanted to rock the stage. Ryan has shown that she can be very diverse with her music, but her heart lies in rock. She proves to the world in Surreal Life that she has the raw vocals of a star. She was heard singing without the comfort of a studio and without music and the world was impressed.
