sooo about a week or two ago, i received a call from an random number. i picked up to see who it was, only to figure out it was a pocket phone call, and the person on the other end had no idea i was there. like any curious person, i listened for a bit to see if i could figure out who it was. i realized there was music playing, and it was beautiful music! it had been just a minute or two before i realized the vague familiarity of the harmonica and ukulele; could it have been my long lost friend from jam sessions in my living room, ryan suzuka? what are the odds? the next song had started just as i came to check out your myspace page for show dates. nothing listed, so i clicked on the first song on your playlist. sure enough, it was the same song that you were playing while i listened over the phone from 800 miles away. 10 minutes i was listening on that phone to you playing in chicago. turns out, the call was from someone i had only met twice about three years ago. she didn't know who you were before the show, and didn't even remember who i was. the point i'm trying to make it that it's a small small world after all. keep making beautiful tunes and i will keep listening, even over the phone. :D
