    I'm not a recovering crack-addict. I've never seen Jesus. I don't have an obscure disease that has rendered my appearance "ghoulish." I've yet to be championed by famous rappers as the next big thing. I haven't a drop of Indian blood to my knowledge. I may or may not have dabbled in witchcraft and thrash metal guitar as a teenager. I'm not particularly academic or blue-collar. I don't sling, hustle, or bang on the corners. I've never fled to Paris to mend a broken heart. I didn't learn the blues from an old black baptist. I don't live out of my car, yet.
