Ryan Wirtz is a singer/songwriter with a voice that is truly one of a kind. At the age of six it became clear to his family and friends that music was more than just a hobby but a gift that would forever become a part of his life.
Ryan began singing in choir, traveling the country performing in such places as San Francisco, New York & Orlando. In 2004 Ryan was accepted at the Performing Arts Academy in Hollywood where he studied for three years with some of the most respected producers & songwriters in the music industry.
In 2006 Ryan performed on NBC's "Showtime At The Apollo." His performance of "Ordinary People" received rave reviews from the audience and fans alike and was later featured on Apollo's annual 'Best Of' episode which can still be seen in syndication.
Following his performance many opportunities were presented to Ryan including "Ancient Christmas Melodies," a classical Christmas album sung in both French & Romanian (available on itunes). More recently Ryan was chosen among hundreds to fy to New York City and sing for P. Diddy himself on MTV's upcoming show, Starmaker. Although he didn't make it as a finalist on the show, Ryan continues his journey to the top!
With an eclectic variety of musical influences ranging from Michael Jackson to John Mayer and a rich baritone voice, Ryan is excited to share his music with the world. In a day and age where great singers are few and far between Ryan Wirtz is destined to be the voice of a new generation.
