The Rye Holler Boys Bluegrass and Gospel Band proudly play the traditional sound of Bluegrass and Gospel music. Their talent and skills are amazing to watch and people of all ages love to see their show. The band consists of Alan King, age 17 Banjo, his younger brother Adam King, age 16 Mandolin, Will Howell, age 16, lead guitar and vocalist, and Jacob Jones, age 15 who plays Bass, Fiddle, Clawhammer Banjo. The four young men stay busy playing at Bluegrass Festivals in Western North Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. They also love to play at churches and sing Gospel music. They have proudly been on stage at The Ernest Tubb Record Shop in Nashville, Tenn for the past two years at the annual IBMA awards. They have opened up for groups such as Sawyer Brown, Lizzie Long and Little Roy Lewis, and The Issacs.
