I'm a handyman, beekeeper, carpenter, mountain man, farmer, electrician, and musician. I am sole proprietor of Ames Nurseries. I sing and play piano, harmonica, accordian, saxophone, banjo, flute, guitar and bass. My biggest claim to fame is playing harmonica on the Davy Jones Christmas Album. You know Davy Jones from the Monkees.
I enjoy hiking, sea kayaking, body surfing, and knife throwing when I'm not working.

Willie K returns to his old stomping grounds of Pahoa to rock the roof off the historic Akebono Theater in Pahoa. And you get not one, but two, that's right I said TWO nights of the hottest, most bad ass rock and blues on the planet! No one does it like Uncle Willie! Of course, if you've seen Willie in action before, you don't need me to tell you. And if you've never seen Willie put on a rock and blues show, get ready to have your mind blown from here to Pluto and back!
And it's all for two great causes. Part of the proceeds will benefit Neighborhood Place of Puna, support services for families in distress in the Puna community and Make My Day Hawaii, helping to save music and arts in Hawaii's public schools.
So here's the who, what, when, where and why. Be ready to rock your asses off! I'll see you there!!!!
