当初ソロででRyo Hamamotoとして活動開始。主に弾き語りでライブを続け、
2007年にアルバム"Leave Some Space"を発表。平行して神谷洵平Dr.とデュオでのライブも行う。
2008年頃からPadokこと渡部牧人Ba.を加え、Ryo Hamamoto& The Wetlandとして活動。
岩谷啓士郎、塚本亮（Sworn Group)をゲストに迎えて演奏も行う。
2009年10月、隅倉弘至Ba.を向かえて現在のラインアップに至る。
Playing live & loud in many venues
around Tokyo.
After playing in several bands, started singing with the guitar in various venues in Tokyo around 2003. Released a 9 track mini album "leave some space" 2007. Still wandering around, around music.
Currently playing live solo, and also with Junpei Kamiya on drums Makito Watanabe on Bass
