Ry Stephens Design
produces contemporary sophisticated design with classic elegance that every handmade card deserves.
We offer handmade stationery, wedding invitations, birth announcements and more. Each card is designed printed, painted and pieced together in our design studio. We use a variety of high quality 100% recycled white paper & envelopes, textured paper, felt, ribbon and Swarovski Crystals. At Ry Stephens Design we strive to make every celebration a memorable one while leaving little impact on our earth.
Ry Stephens Design was started in the Fall of 2006 by designer and artist Mary Stephens.
"Since I was a little girl, for hours on end I would sit on the floor drawing. I was always making something for someone. It has been my true love and passion in life.
In Fall of 1999 I attended art school at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester New York. In 2003 I finished with an associates degree in Illustration and a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design.
After graduation I settled down in my home town Buffalo, New York and started a family. The birth of my son inspired me to send out handmade birth announcements to friends and family. I wanted to show how special my son's birth was with a one of a kind announcement. The response I received was overwhelming.
As I created more cards and received one compliment after another, praise quickly changed to a career suggestion. I had found a career that pushed my creative abilities and aloud me to stay home with my children.
Ry Stephens Design was created in hopes of changing the greeting card industry to where it should be. Quality stationery that is made with inspiration and love. Making sure to use recycled materials and green energy
My mission is to add that personal touch that I have always desired, to every card I create. I hope to express your joy, gratitude and admiration to those you love with class and elegance".
Who I'd like to meet: I would like to meet potential wholesale clients (specifically boutique owners). As well as professionals in the wedding, baby and stationery industry and any other artists or designers.
Take a look at our pics where we have posted all of our card collections along with their retail pricing. If you see something you like you can email me or check out our online shop at www.rystephensdesign.etsy.com. Email us if interested in setting up a wholesale account or ordering a wholesale sample pack.
