After providing publicity for Malik B of the Roots as Director of Communications under the company F.D.M.E, Sabina Diaz, along with F.D.M.E owner Hakim Woods AKA Haak Blast, held a major part in re-launching the career of Malik B who is now featured on the recently released The Roots album Game Theory. At the same time, she formed SabiKulture media, which would become a subisidery of ThorTakeOver ( A collective of music related companies whose vision is to show artists how to take their career into their own destiny without waiting to be put on by major industry figures. We provide CD duplication, Recording and Engineering, Booking..with the goal of soon becoming an independent label). Sabina Diaz became Publicist for ThorTakeover, while also holding down positions as Booking Agent and Photographer. As a result of ThorTakeOver provoking hip hop promoters in the philly underground hip hop scene, you can now find 4 different live hip hop show events happening on the same night. You actually get to pick and choose, when at one time there were NO live hip hop shows to attend...especially on a Saturday night. We rocked a Tuesday night for a year at Medusa Lounge and now we're located bring you Mic Check THORsday (Every first Thursday at Liquid Charm in Philly) and Verbal Revolution NYC new monthly at The Knitting Factory in NYC. Both events formats are ill ass emcee ciphers, producer showcases with raw live performacnes.
