Masked in shadows, in the dreaded wastelands of East Vancouver, lurks a collection of vagabonds, corsairs, and ne'er-do-wells whose name is so feared that it only passes in whispers past the lips of the bravest of men. That name: Sabrael. A pact, secret until now, has been pledged. From the east, battleaxe in hand, lo, it is Greg (Strain, Deadsure), having shredded the wicked, and the eardrums of the innocent, for over a millennium. The fearsome Bradley White (Hezzakya) has arrived from the south. He unsheathes his mighty long sword for the cause, and plunges it fiercely into the earth, sending shudders through granite – and cowardly men. A lone warrior strides from the west, silhouetted by the falling sun – it is Daryl Kirkham (The Approach), who solemnly beats the skins of slain dwarves stretched over the bones of orcs long-forgotten. It is this ill-begotten rhythm that pushes the others onward. From the north, above the fray, comes a roar envied by the gryphon, and a shattering scream that sends banshees fleeing in all directions. Warriors raise their weapons skyward at the sound - it is Brian Williams (49th Peril, Cascabella) who beckons for thee. A more lethal union has ne'er been witnessed.
