Formada em meados de 2004 pelo guitarrista Elias Scopel Liebl e pelo baterista Mario Oliva na cidade de Videira – Santa Catarina, a banda teve alguns ensaios iniciais que também contavam com a participação do guitarrista Pedro Borges Chaffe que por pouco tempo esteve junto ao grupo. Nessa época a banda tinha o nome provisório de Boa Noite Cinderela . No mesmo período já havia algumas composições próprias, e nos encontros eram tocadas em meio aos covers.
Mais tarde já com o nome SABRE, a banda recruta para ocupar o posto de baixista o amigo Wagner Maschio que se junta ao grupo em definitivo formando o trio: Scopel , Oliva e Maschio .
Alguns ensaios ocorrem nesse período na casa do guitarrista Scopel em Videira-SC nas férias de verão, onde eram passadas as musicas de criação, fazendo assim com que fosse concretizando-se ainda mais o nome SABRE . Os ensaios rolavam somente com o guitarrista e o baterista, os vocais eram feitos por Scopel temporariamente.
A idéia inicial de gravar um CD demo foi amadurecendo com os encontros, até que, decidiu-se assim por fazer. Houve logo nos dias seguintes a busca por estúdios na Cidade de Curitiba-PR onde começariam os ensaios juntamente com o baixista Maschio , para logo iniciarem-se as gravações. Já com as gravações iniciando, a banda muda de idéia e deixa a demo de lado para lançar direto um EP, com sete faixas.
Tão logo começaram os ensaios oficias da banda, sentiu-se a necessidade de um vocalista que assumisse de vez as vozes do SABRE . Algumas buscas foram feitas na cidade de Curitiba-PR, até que Rafael Steel assumiu os vocais provisoriamente, fazendo logo alguns ensaios, participando de gravações e estreando no primeiro show do SABRE , porém seu estilo de vida não casaria com a dos outros membros da banda.
Passados alguns dias o guitarrista Scopel teve contato com o vocalista Guilherme “Indianwest” Oliveira (Satraybullet, Silent, Michael Riesenbeck e IonU), que logo viria a se envolver com a banda fazendo ensaios, shows e iniciando a gravação do EP, intitulado Boemia .
As gravações do EP ainda tiveram algumas participações com os vocalistas André Mendes (Dragon Heart), Giuliano Schmith (Still Life) e o próprio Rafael Steel . Ainda no período das gravações outro vocalista conhecido de Scopel , Jean Ernesthine (Ex Orquídea Negra) chegou a fazer uma participação gravando uma das faixas do EP, porém não permanecendo no registro final.
A banda fez todas as gravações do EP Boemia no Estúdio Passagem de Som em Curitiba-PR, incluindo a mixagem do disco. A masterização, arte final e prensagem foram feitas em São Paulo-SP.
Em outubro de 2006 a banda vai para a ilha de Florianópolis-SC no estúdio AML sobre produção de Alexei Leão (Stormental) gravar seu novo CD intitulado Burning Wheels . Depois de gravadas as baterias, Scopel assume o posto e grava todo o resto do CD, incluindo vocais e baixos. Os baixos foram gravados pelo mesmo devido à agenda de gravação não fechar com a do baixista Maschio .
Este CD também conta com a participação de Rafael Scopel (Ex Stormental e Still Life) primo de Scopel.
Antes de terminar a mixagem e masterização, o CD Burning Wheels a banda decide lançar um EP intitulado Estrada de Rosas pela tecnologia SMD, sendo exclusivamente para fãs e emissoras de rádios. Este EP contém versões exclusivas que não se encontrão nos demais trabalhos.
Os dois últimos trabalhos foram lançados em 2007 seguidos de alguns shows incluindo a indicação Brasileira ao Battle W.O.A (Wacken Open Air) realizada em Santa Catarina.
Em 2009 a banda recruta ao posto de baixista Jean Medeiros (Infiltration) substituindo Maschio que por motivos profissionais teve de ausentar-se do Sabre , por tempo indeterminado.

Formed in mid 2004 by guitarist Elias Scopel Liebl and drummer Mario Oliva in the city of Videira - Santa Catarina, the band goes to Curitiba - Paraná, which starts its activities. Later already with the name SABRE, the band recruits to fill the post of the bassist friend Wagner Maschio that joins the group ultimately forming the trio: Scopel, Oliva and Maschio.
After some days the guitarist Scopel had contact with the singer Guilherme "Indianwest" Oliveira (Satraybullet, Silent, and Michael Riesenbeck IonU), which would soon become involved with the band doing tests, shows and began recording the EP, called Bohemia.
The recordings of the EP still had some shares with vocalists André Mendes (Dragon Heart), Giuliano Schmith (Still Life) and the Rafael Steel. Even during the recording of another singer known Scopel, Jean Ernesthine (Ex Orquidea Negra) has to make a recording from one of the tracks on the EP, but not staying in the final record.
In October 2006 the band goes to the island of Florianopolis, SC on AML in the studio production of Alexei Leão (Stormental) recording their new CD entitled Burning Wheels. Once the batteries, Scopel take the position and record the rest of the CD, including voice and bass. The bass was recorded due to the same appointment book, not close to the recording of bassist Maschio.
Before finishing the mixing and mastering, the CD Burning Wheels the band decides to launch an EP entitled Estrada de Rosas by SMD technology and is solely for fans and broadcasters of radio. This EP contains exclusive versions that don’t shove the other work. The last two works were launched in 2007.
In 2009 the band recruited the position of bassist Jean Medeiros (Infiltration) Maschio substitute for professional reasons that had to leave the Sabre, indefinitely.

Thanks a lot for the add ! EletriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard.
