Sabrina Vargas, is an R&B, Jazz, Soul music artist and Los Angeles native. Because of her soulful voice and emotional singing, she is known as an artist who possess a "refreshing soulful blend of smooth" in her music. Sabrina is also a prolific songwriter and producer who is known for creating and promoting her independent music projects. Her penetrating voice and crystal-clear enunciation has helped to add Sabrina's very own distinctive style to every musical peice she performes. While making extraordinary recordings in Jazz, Blues, R&B, Soul and with a hint of the light pop contexts. Sabrina, began performing as a teenager in 1990 and soon joined the R&B/Jazz music circuit working with veteran musicians and fronting R&B, Blues, and Jazz bands. With well over 15 years of touring and music expierence. Today Sabrina has been releasing her independent musical works on her own terms. She has also released a commercially driven album of the same name, with its heavy reliance on soulful R&B guitar progressions, and a throwback to jazz piano melodies and charming choruses, which have placed Sabrina at the forefront of the "do it yourself" independent music movement. Despite the hussle and efforts taken to get where Sabrina is today. She mentions; "it has been a humbling freedom climb for me; and from this point on all I got to do is stay on the path thats ahead of me and I just gotta keep the faith while in the process." Vargas continues to preserver and is creating more commercial, pop-oriented songs rather than traditional blues and jazz songs which she was raised on in her youth.
Today, Sabrina has achieved independently putting out her own music on her own accord and building her brand of soul music for her fans. For all intense purposes it is her ambition, dedication and hard work in this type of career; which has brought joy and happiness to Sabrina and those whom she has worked with. At the end of the day there is simply one important thing that Sabrina will continue to accomplish; and thats to bring the joy of music, lyrics, song and sound into the lives of many and she hopes it will bring her fans... happiness!
