關於我:
In the beginning there was TRAUMA, a Gothic Industrial and EBM dance party held in the fall of 2004 at the venue most in the Sacramento scene know as the old Amazon. Originally it was intended as a one night event but due to the enthusiastic response from those attending, the project mutated into a series of club nights held about every other month for well over a year. After the second event the club was moved to the Country Club Event Center where it eventually became a weekly club before closing doors in September 2007.
TRAUMA began thanks to the cooperative efforts of many in our Sacramento scene who cared about seeing it thrive and musically evolve for the better. The music of the night covered just about every sub-genre of the scene in an effort to offer something for everyone who visited. And while our DJs brought the latest and best in darker dance music, they were also sure to give due attention to the great bands that came before who made our scene what it is today.
As of 2008 we have returned as REVERENCE! Held every 4th Saturday of the month at Club 21, located at 1119 21st Street, between L and K streets on the right hand side in downtown Sacramento.
Thank you SO much for letting me sell my things and for the entry to your club! It was a great turnout! I really enjoyed all the little party favors around and I really enjoyed listening to good music and Will and I were happy to get drinks from my ol friend at the bar. Is there anything I can do to thank you?
Hello there! Would you be interested in having a vendor at your club night? I make custom gothy/rockabilly/vintage style top hats and hair accessories. Just trying to see if there is an interest. My original prices are VERY inexpensive as I am just seeing what kind of interest there is. Keep the scene going here in Sacto!
~hello groovy ghoulies~ Ryan and I will be attending on the 26th for dancing and romance. Does anyone know what is going on for Halloween night? We're considering the Vampire Ball at Vega's but wondering if there's something a bit more...gothic happening? dark loves ~Eleanoir~
Hey there REVERENCE! Thanks for supporting my music! My new CD "Hearts For Bullets" was just released in September. We also just wrapped the 3 month long U.S. tour with the Cruxshadows and looking forward to 2009! Happy New Year!
It was an enchanting evening, a much needed catharsis. Loved the cozy space and the mix of old and new musical delights. love from the foothills, ~eleanoir~
