Writing, poetry, reading, long walks on the beach, movies, music of all kinds, pampering myself, self-discovery, cooking, and I'm a huge animal lover, especially dogs.
Mostly goth and house, but also rock (new and old), progressive, soft ambient music...too many actually. I like to listen to whatever matches my mood at the moment.
Movies
Shakespeare In Love, Mystic River, Secret Window, anything that is suspense.
Television
Will & Grace, Grey's Anatomy...but that's about it. I don't like to waste time in front of the TV.
Sometimes quiet, sometimes outgoing but always wearing my heart on my sleeve. I've learned a lot of lessons in this beautiful life, one being that sometimes you have to let go of the one you love in order for happiness to occur for both of you. I'm eccentric, yet warm and affectionate. I love the simple things in life--walks on the beach, holding hands, kissing passionately. I'm a writer so I observe the world as it unfolds before me and use my observations in all of my writings. I'm a go-getter and quite independent. Sometimes weak, sometimes strong but always rising above the obstacles in the end.
Who I'd like to meet: Looking to meet new friends with likeminded interests.

Spring is here and so are the butterflies! This week I have a gallery of a particular group of butterflies called Brushfoots. Brushfoots are the most commonly known and encountered of the large colorful butterflies (excluding the swallowtails) found in Florida and the Americas. These include the monarchs, fritillaries, buckeyes, and the viceroy below (who has nearly identical markings as the toxic monarch butterfly) to keep it from being eaten by birds.... cool trick, huh? :-)
Click the butterfly below to see my gallery - and please let me know what you think!
