  • General

    I'm pretty laid back. I've finished college and been out in the workforce for a while. But, especially with the state of the world these days, I've realized that I was working too hard and needed to have more fun. Now I concentrate more on myself and don't let what others think get me down.

  • Music

    I like to listen to most anything that's playing. I'm not a big fan of rap or hip-hop, but I do like techno, rock, metal, and pop. My guilty pleasures, though, are occasionally disco and Broadway show-tunes. (Hey! Sometimes you just NEED an ABBA or "Les Miserables" fix! Don't judge me!!)

  • Movies

    Give me something with lots of action and adventure and I'll watch it all day! I usually like "guy" movies, though. No romantic comedy for me! I have TONS of DVDs at home -- many that haven't even been opened. Mostly I own comedy, sci-fi, action, drama, documentary, indie, concert, stand-up, and even some "kid" movies (Pixar Animation rocks!) DVDs. And, of course, I like porn -- otherwise I wouldn't write about it!

  • Television

    I don't watch much television anymore. Maybe someone could suggest some great shows (most of the ones I loved have been canceled!). However, when I have the time I'm usually tuned-in to BBC America. Brit comedy and "Top Gear" (I really LOVE cool cars!) keep me in my seat for hours on end if I'm not careful! And when I can't get my Brit fix, I'm usually glued to The Discovery Channel watching "Mythbusters" or "Dirty Jobs"...yeah, the geek in me likes to come out and play a lot but actually they are very intelligent shows and I really enjoy them!

  • Books

    I recently read "America Unzipped" -- THAT is a book you've got to find!! I also enjoy the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency" series by Douglas Adams and, yes, I also like the "Harry Potter" books by J.K. Rowling. They're not just for kids! My library is full of history books, biographies, science fiction novels (yes, I like Star Trek! I geek-out when I want to!), English literature, and the occasional coffee table book.

    ALL the men and women in uniform who have fought for our freedoms! I come from a LONG line of military members and I'm proud of everyone who serves their country.
