This period has been an interesting time for me and my music, because I've met a lot of creative, original and positive friends, including everyone who is involved in the "Another Rain" recording project. This is changing the course of my thought and music, which have been moving from somewhere very inside to open-space.
This project is multi media art in its process. I called this the "Rain Project." I wrote a piece called "Another Rain" to send my energy to my father, when he was very sick. When you can't appreciate the rain, it can make you feel depressed. But we also know that it nourishes the soil, refreshes the air, and makes us ready for a beautiful sunny day. So I wanted to make the rain. When I was preparing for the recording, the rain installation idea came up in my mind. I ran my idea over to Barbara and Amir. They responded very quickly. And in a few weeks, everything was done. Their unique and passionate works were very impressive and inspiring. Simultaneously, the music started having a unique color with this amazing ensemble, Roy, Andy, Mike and Ken. And a wonderful poet Golda sprinkled word spice on the project. I want to share this installation-photo-music show with you here in my space.
