Welcome to the MYSPACE home for SACRAMENTO AUDIO WAFFLE (SAW). This site will be a way for friends of SAW to stay in touch and be aware of upcoming shows.
SAW shows originally happened MONTHLY in the Sacramento area, usually on a Sunday, but sometimes a Saturday, from January 2006 through December 2007. Although no longer monthly, we are still doing shows occasionally and at random. Stay tuned to this profile for happenings and updates...
This series was coordinated by the SACRAMENTO LORDS OF NOISE (SLON) to provide a way to showcase OUTSIDER SOUND ART.. (aka noise / experimental / audio soundscapes) in the Sacramento area, and have breakfast. Usually 4 or 5 different artists performed and we served Waffles and coffee to all that attended (until we ran out of batter).
We started our series at the 1001 Del Paso Arts building in the Del Paso Heights area of Sactown, and then moved to The Space Theater in midtown for the last 6 months of this series. In the Spring of 2008 we started doing "random" SAW shows a the VOX Gallery..and it was swell until it's closure in late 2008. We are now into the 2009 season, with a new midtown location called The Goobertarium originally.. and now called THE HUB... we look forward to seeing you, say hi, have a waffle and some coffee.. dont forget your earplugs!

Secret fact: I hated my first show at Sacramento Audio Waffles. But the second show I did there with E-yard rocked so hard that it made up for the first lame show. In fact, every awesome show I have done under the Cerebral Roil title is just to make up for that one show.
