My take - Simple words but think about it! Who is always at the seen of the crime? Who is always there when you succeed.. or when you fail? Or when you go half way? What about when things are bad and when things are good?
You!
Cheers, Andy

I’m very excited that you are interested in participating in the Fête de la Musique on Saturday June 21st this year in Sacramento. This message will provide some more details and explain where to find more information. If you are not interested in participating as a artist or a venue consider deleting me as your friend, I won’t take it personally :-)
This music festival is like no other festival you’ve ever played at or attended. There is no central organization committee, no one to tell you that you can’t participate; it’s completely open to every one, orchestras, bands, choral groups, solo artists, marching bands, and amateur musicians of any genre; and it can happen everywhere!
The stage of the event is the entire City of Sacramento. The limited coordination for the event is happening through the Sacramento Community Wiki web site (http://sacwiki. org/fete) where you can list yourself as a performer or as a hosting venue. It's a Wiki page, simple to edit. If you do any Myspace stuff, it will be easy for you to figure it out quickly, you just need to register and log in. It’s free, you can even add your band’s information to the music scene section. If you can’t figure it out please send me the information and I’ll add it.
Details are laid out on the Wiki site. To be informed on what will happen on June 21st, you should also register to be on the “announce list”. Just send a blank email to fete-announce-subscribe@sacramentocacophony. org. This is a very low traffic announce list that we will use to provide crucial information updates (like new street fair locations, or areas closed to performances) as they become available.
If this whole thing excites you too and if you have time to help, feel free to join the discussion list by sending a blank email to fete-discuss-subscribe@sacramentocacophony.org. This is a hi

It's simple (seriously) - and it's free! The key SacLights difference is that we’re 100% local. Your local audience can now easily find and listen to your latest work, then go to your next show.
Just register as anyone else would, set your display name to your band name, then:
∙ Post your music, videos, show listings, show fliers, pictures ∙ Have your tracks in the site-wide radio player of local musicians with links to your band’s profile ∙ Find, listen, and message other local musicians ∙ Notify 'friends' of upcoming shows ∙ Keep a blog ∙ It's also easy to link to your myspace, lastfm or other websites.
From now through most of February your registration also gets you a chance to win an iPhone, so stop reading and register, ya dig?! ..
Thank you so much for your request.. I am humbled that you enjoyed my music enough to add me to your circle of friends. I had the pleasure of visiting Sacramento early December and visited the Nevada City Christmas which was wonderful. I would be lovely to be able to perform with you one day. I do hope that you will pop in often to say hello and keep in touch as I truly value your friendship.
Love, light and bright blessings always Kathleen x
