關於我:

~ Temple Theatre ~ "Sacred Space for Sacred Art"

Once a month the Temple Space is offered to support Ritual as an art form so that it can be shared with the public in a sacred atmosphere.
In the Temple we welcome artists who are devoted to creating Sacred Art: Ancient Ritual Practices, Devotional World Music, Mysticism, Temple Dance and the New Infusion of Art by current spiritualists and performers who dedicate themselves to evoking a purely transcendental experience.

Now in stores of discernible taste ;)

Atlan has its roots in the ceremonial: ritualism, shamanism, butoh.
Master Tuvan throat singer Soriah teams up with prolific soundscaper
Ashkelon Sain to create a totally breathtaking album. Soriah conjures
up a haunting sonic otherworld, drifting, dreamy, a rumbling, whirring
ambient dronescape, thick with natural timbre and dense with subtle
overtones. The eleven tracks employ a host of Central Asian ethnic
stringed instruments alongside atmospheric synths and hypnotic hand
percussion to form a simmering backdrop for Soriah's mesmerizing vocals
intoned in the ancient Aztec language of Nahuatl.

A better burden can no man bear
    on the way than his mother wit;
'tis the refuge of the poor, and richer it seems
than wealth in a world untried.

I just now realized you had a page for Temple Theater after finally checking my friend requests!....honey you should have told me!....Eye am Still here in the dampy dankness that is south jersey,.....I went to the ocean today and there were many thunderstorms!.....The opening night of Temple Theater was full and thick, juicy and drenched.....yummy!....I look forward to seeing how this all bubbles!

Aloha and thanks for the request. The idea of celebrating ritual and sharing it as an art form is a beautiful concept. I wish i was still in portland or had known about this when I was there.

Best wishes from the big island!
