Sacred Heart Church is part of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church. The parish has been in existence for nearly 50 years.
The church buildings are located on the corner of Alwyn Road and Lime Tree Avenue, Bilton. The village of Bilton is a suburb of Rugby, a town in Warwickshire in the Midlands region of England.
The church is part of the Archdiocese of Birmingham.
The original church was built in 1959. In 1993 the reordering of the whole church was completed with an immersion font, a new Blessed Sacrament Chapel, a quiet room, a youth room and a library. There was also a new narthex giving direct access to the hall extended in 1991. The church was dedicated by the Archbishop in April 1998.
Mass is celebrated daily in the church and there are two Sunday masses - one anticipated on Saturday evening at 6pm, and one on Sunday morning at 9.30am. Coffee and tea are available after each of the weekend masses.
The parish priest is Father Joe Mullen, IC, a member of the Rosminians
