We are influenced by bands such as Killswitch Engage, Chimiara, Dry Kill Logic, metallica, Lamb Of God, Pantera, Machine Head, Trivium, A Perfect Murder, System Of A Down basically any metal band you have heard of!! If Its Heavy We Love it.

its hard say what we sound like we are very big into what killswitch engage do! and i guess that influnces alot of our music!! its just metal plain and simple...
SACRED OBSESSION its not just a name, its so much more, but for the people who dont know us and to cut the crap we are just simply a Metal band from the small country town of Horsham victoria!!
We love our music loud and fast and from that first open roar you'll love it to!!!
We started out in 2006 playing in the louge room, shed, backyard! you name it we have probably jamed there!! for as long as we could, until getting a noise complaint stop warning!!
With Buddy belting out firce fast beats on the drums, Mayzie brutalizing his bass, Shannon head bangin away with his guitar, George shreding it up on lead and Oaks bringin the whole brutile project together with his huge echoing screams and roars!!!
The whole band just bonded and got along well with each other and the music just flowed like the fire from the devils belly!!! songs just kept on comin, sometimes we would be writing more than one at a time and with input from everyone in the band on every aspect of the music!!! we couldnt be happier!!
We write our songs to please ourselves but most of all the likes of any Metal fan out there !!
We played our debut show in may of 2007 at the Rockstuff Battle Of The Bands, where we came a 3 way tie with Tombowla (Horsham) and Next Of Kin (Warracknabeal), then went on to at a grand final where we came second!! but then the break through, we won the Freeza Battle Of The Bands regional heat for the push over!!!
We are a metal band and thats all there is to it!!

after much success of the Mega Brain Records Metal Compilation 2008 cd and the Rock compilation 2008 it is just about time to get back into the metal swing of 2009.
Mega Brain Records Metal Compilation 2009, for those who don't know what it is, is a Compilation cd of Melbourne Metal bands. this CD gets sent out to record companies, indie labels, radio stations and Metal and hard rock night clubs. it does cost to have a track on there but it is great promo for your band.
