"Everybody can be great, because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need to have a heart full of grace. A soul generated by Love." - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Sada Simran Kaur: has always been blessed with sharing the gift of peace and joy through voice and sacred song. Always destined to write beautiful music, Sada Simran Kaur finds “deep fulfillment in sharing my heart and spirit through music, my way of serving the Divine. I believe in encouraging others to live with a positive mind and to create a positive world around them”.
Sada Simran Kaur’s songs flow from the experiences of everyday beautiful life, a web of unassuming melodies filled with light and shade.
A trained classical singer and pianist Sada Simran Kaur eventually explored other musical styles and instruments. An exploration of guitar, cello, percussion, and fiddle saw her settle on the guitar. A love affair with Celtic music, jazz, ambient-groove, sacred song, and kirtan (chanting) lead to an album of exquisitely constructed music and lyrics that enrich the soul. “I love to sing and I truly believe that there is no power like the power of positive vibration, especially that of the human voice. My music flows from my heart and was created with the intent of evoking well-being, a positive outlook, and a sense of peace”.
One can’t help feel an overwhelming sense of joy when listening to Sada Simran Kaurs’ debut cd “Huna”. A beautifully assembled body of songs, Sada Simran has a pure passion for unpretentious melodies, unveiling the beauty of everyday experience through song. Walking the line between ambient, groove and sacred music, she melds captivating harmonies with a spirited exploration of life. Sada Simran’s album is a collection of songs that are immediately accessible and contagious, in an engaging, worldly sense. Her album is the soundtrack to a beautiful Hawaiian massage at dusk, sadhana at dawn, or any divine healing experience.
Guided by the magic ears of Matt Atchison (OKA), you can expect Sada Simran’s debut album to lighten the load of anyone’s heart. There is only room for peace while listening to this stunning debut. “May everyone find peace within themselves, so that peace may prevail”. Sat Nam.
