we miss the art burn. the last few months have been hectic. too many changes to keep up with. must admit though, things are finally sounding righteous. we got new tunes up boys. right now, they're not fully mastered yet, but we're getting there.

The new tune sounds solid boys, I like the use of layers and the effects on the drums, as well as upbeat feel and that cool little (accordian?) hook that breaks in several times. We should definitely try to hook up a show over the reading week!

alright..so there is a way cool project in the process..its great, really it is!! Its for this coming spring/summer. It is a benifit concert tour.
I am gathering a dozen musicians/bands to go on a mini tour (about a month, hopefully longer) around Ontario (funds are limited). Is amazing because all the musicians on board are fantastic and have a passion for music and a passion for the world..
There will be no money invloved (that may be hard, i realize people have to live) but we will just be touring and with every city we hit and the cash that we make will go to such organizations as:
Food Not Bombs, Amnsety International, Military Free Zone, Free Mumia and the Political Prisoners,Peta and Democracy Now!
I mean, ofcourse there are soooo sooooo many more causes that money should go to..but this is to be divided evenly between the organizations listed above..(for now)
this tour can turn into something bigger with more organizations and people! I have already contacted these org..and things with vehicles, food and over nights are being planned out right now. I am getting hold of musicians now becuase theres soooo much to be planned out. Sponsers are being looked into as well. You dont have to know forsure now, but please let me know asap if your band(s) are interested, just so i know!!!

well, we can get my church and school for free, but i'm pretty sure if we hold it at the school it has to be a charity thing, which isn't a bad plan either. lots of choices, willing to jam! i'll have a few solo songs of my own then too, maybe 3 or 4? and we can do something together also. who else would you plan on inviting? cheers!
