The Saddle Pal's Code of the Cowpoke

Adapted slightly from

Gene Autry's Cowboy Code

7, 9 & 10 respectfully amended.*

1. The Cowboy must never shoot first, hit a weaker man, or take unfair advantage.

2. He must never go back on his word, or a trust confided in him.

3. He must always tell the truth.

4. He must be gentle with children, the elderly, and animals.

5. He must not advocate or possess racially or religiously intolerant ideas.

6. He must help people in distress.

7. He must be a good worker and respect those who work with or for him.

8. He must keep himself clean in thought, speech, action, and personal habits.

9. He must respect women, parents, society, all cultures and domestic and international laws of justice and human rights.

10. The Cowboy is a true patriot who stands up to help his country live up to what it stands for.

*Original text of 7: "He must be a good worker."
Original text of 9: "He must respect women, parents and his nations laws."
Original text of 10: "The Cowboy is a patriot."
Adapted by Andrew Thomson

How can I help but use your eyes as a means for self-asphyxiation, all my thoughts are lost to your graceful gaze? Your reflections bring happiness that rends naked glass. I love your eyes, I know they can stare through my thoughts. I must demand your pleasing face. How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight. Cities crumble, skies ignite spontaneously in your presence. How long must I suffer with your undergarments? I relentlessly desire your silky tongue between my sweet flesh. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux.
