About me: SADD, a youth peer-to-peer education, prevention, and activism organization, was founded on the simple philosophy that young people, empowered to help each other, are the most effective force in prevention. SADD students say that the most incredible part of SADD is knowing there are hundreds of thousands of teenagers around the country who have a positive lifestyle in common.
For more than a quarter-century, SADD has been recognized as a national leader in driving safety and alcohol and drug education and prevention. In 1997, in response to requests from SADD student themselves, SADD expanded its mission, and chapters now use the name Students Against Destructive Decisions. Today, SADD provides students with the best prevention tools possible to deal with the issues of underage drinking, other drug use, impaired and dangerous driving, teen violence and suicide, and other destructive decisions.

hey, thanks for the add, i'm on my school's sadd board, and i think that sadd national should have way more than 100 friends! sadd is the best school orginization ever, and i was so stoked when i found out there was a myspace page!
This is my best friend Nikoletta Joannides, she was 17 when she was killed. she was hit while crossing an intersection near her house, on the way home from her boyfriends. the person that killed her was a kid in our graduating class, Dan Heckman police estimated he couldnt have been doing anything less than 70-80 miles per hour. unfortunatly his father is a retired suffolk county police officer and came back in place of dan, so no charges were filed. it is sickening how people are getting away with murder everyday, bc thats what driving drunk/high is, as soon as you get behind the wheel of a car knowing your not 100% you become a human weapon. hopefully soon no-one will have to lose their loved one's to stupid reckless drivers and go through the pain of watching them be put in the ground, it kills something inside of you.
RIP~ Nikoletta Joannides

Thanks for the add. Feels like yesterday I was a member of SADD in high school! Oh wait, it's been 20 years! Keep up the great work and I look forward to being involved in the near future.
