| General | reading and procrastination and keeping up with my daily sustenence of tv goodness (mostly house md, sometimes scrubs (i've watched the box sets far too many times) and for some reason america's next top model. oh and ugly betty)
and of course READING ... extremely important, it's all i do, but check the other box for more details. | | Music | let's see... *peruses cd's*
pearl jam, rage against the machine, foo fighters, audioslave, soundgarden, old offspring, old blink 182, tapping the vein, queen adreena, american head charge, system of a down, red hot chili peppers, soil, hed pe, chopin. | | Movies | i've got so many though! ...
there are certain actors whose films i follow, for example Simon Pegg, Zach Braff and Adam Sandler, therefore films like Shaun of the Deadm Hot Fuzz, Garden State, Big Daddy, 50 First Dates...
i also love period dramas, but particularly if they're adaptations of books that i enjoyed, so most Austen adaptations (yes, i know they concentrate more on the pretty dresses than the underlying gender and sociological politics of Austen's times but they're still fun to just zone out and watch!)
i also enjoy the grit that is Mr Tarantino, in particularly Reservoir Dogs and especially Pulp Fiction
have you seen Juno yet? because it's such a great film, absolutely unique and the soundtrack is gorgeously innocent.
and now to turn all the above on its head i'm going to confess that i am a huge kid and i loved Ratatouille, Mulan, Lilo and Stitch (along with Scooby, Stitch is my most favourite character of all time) and both Ice Age(s). | | Television | Again so many! (and Ken and i collect them in boxsets ^^)

my name is Bethan, and you'll find me more on facebook than here ... yes, i have succumbed...
what to write? i'm 21 years old, i live with my boyfriend in flat in a gorgeous georgian property in the town of carmarthen, south wales. we also have baby - she's fluffy and has a tail, most people call her a "kitten" but we dont like to judge... we just call her tabitha...
i'm doing the final year of an english degree at trinity college carmarthen... not much really to say there other than if your passion is reading, then this is certainy the course for you. if you dont like shakespeare, dont take it because common sense dictates that you will of course study him relentlessly in the first/second year (but not this one... possibly because we're focusing an aweful lot on modernism...and postmodernism).
if there anything else you want/need/MUST know about me, message/comment me and if you seem nice and not, y'kno, bloody odd i may just answer questions.

Who I'd like to meet:
ok... this is a difficult question. of course you'd always want to meet your favourite authors (most of whom on my list are dead), comedians (eddie izzard), actors (simon pegg, hugh laurie, zach braff, edward norton), musicians (eddie vedder, chopin (difficult, i know))...
i would, however, like to have the opportunity to meet Terry Pratchett again... THIS time i wont grin inanely at the poor sod.
