You may not be aware, but I recently had quite a lot of gear stolen from my car. I'm really really hoping folks who enjoy the music will help out with donations; all donors will get a bunch of thank you surprises! I can't replace this gear on my own. I really could use YOUR help, of whatever level, it all adds up.

Nevyn Nowhere is the primary entity of Sad Music for Happy Humans. He played in a few bands in the late 90's and early 00's, and in 2004 decided to take it solo style (at that point as a guitarist/keyboardist/looper/fx/pedalhead). Over the next year, he went to a mix of digital and analog, and began cultivating his production skills and sample library (via field recordings, self made samples, remixes/others' samples, etc). He kinda thinks the live shows kicked up in 06, but maybe it was '05. Whatever, did a couple underground shows, then opened for Egyptian Lover. ..

SMHH plays everything from ambient experimental to super fucking "this is for the dancers" beat ridden multi layered polyrhythmic/melodic mindfuck hazes of sound meant to be danced to. Sometimes Mr Nowhere looks like he's djing, because he's twiddling, because he's doing Live PA/production. Sometimes he's playing instruments. Sometimes he's playing with others. Most often solo. ..

Currently Mr Nowhere is exploring the perfect mindfuck dance scenario, and how to teach people how to hear it. ..

SMHH is available for playing shows (with virtually no notice if you want the dance mindfuck haze, and with a week or two at least if you want something more band based). ..

SMHH plays in a multitude of genres, and changes the set, and oftentimes approach (ie more digital? more analog? instrument based? sample based? etc) based on who who he is playing with and where. If you miss one show, you missed it; it won't happen again. ..

This project is DIY, so... any duckets (read: dollars) you can throw this way (store coming back proper style soon) are NEEDED (god I miss my kaoss kp3, amonst other things) and appreciated. Got no money? Cool, burn this shit for your friends. Share it freely. If people get it for free and decide they like it enough to support, great. If not, at least they hopefully love it enough to turn someone on who is able to afford to give. Because, again, this shit is DIY. ..
