S.A.D.O. Melodic classic heavy metal with speed and power metal elements, renowned for their live porno shows was formed in 1983.
This German Power Metal group achieved a degree of notoriety during the mid 80s with their tubes like stage show that incorporated a selection of scantily clad females in sado masochistic uniform.
Vocalist Andre Cook has been the only permanent member since the band's inception in 1983, losing original collaborators Matti Kaebs(drums), Wolfgang Eichholz(guitar), Matthias Moser(guitar) and Stefan Neumann(bass) all of whom left to form band called V2 after the release of the inappropriately titled 'Circle Of Friends'.
Andre Cook attempted to jump the thrash metal bandwagon with 1988 'Dirty Fantasy'(produced by Harris Johns(SODOM, KREATOR, CORONER, HELLOWEEN, VOIVOD, CELTIC FROST), attracting minimal attention, then adopted a more melodic AOR approach for 'Sensitive' in 1989. Their final line up included Andre Cook, a returning Moser(guitar), Duncan O'Neill(bass) and Danny(drums), but all to little avail as the group disbanded shortly after the album's release.
