They're idiots. Never mind the sheep. Tom Robbins, who hates workshops, once said that if you are doing something in a workshop that everyone completely hates, do more of it. That's where your originality is, and the one thing workshops cannot abide is originality. Workshops typically result in cookie-cutter fiction.
