In May 2005, Bruno (drums) decided to form a dark/gothic band. A
few days after having posted some adds, Jean alias “The Boss” (bass) is the first to join Bruno.
Having already been playing in a same band, both are perfectly aligned
from a musical point of view.
Greg, strongly influenced by the gothic metal, has joined the group a
few days later. Greg and Bruno have also been playing together in another
metal band.
The most beautiful moment was going to be born... Laetitia joined the
group a little bit afterwards as a singer. Her first "show" was more than successful. Her voice is deeply melodic and powerful.
More or less at the same time, Nicolas joined the formation as a second guitarist.
The band needed to sound “gothic like”. Joachim was the first keyboard
to join the group & the first songs were recorded in September 2005.
After having listened to the song “I run”, Nicolas "DarkCruz" decided to complete the group.
Sad Siberia was born…The story began...
Sad Siberia released its first 4 titles Demo intitled "The Darkness Of Light" during the cold and snowy winter 2005 and the first gigs is announced...
In early summer 2006, Sad Siberia has played its first gigs, they went nice and smooth and the feedback was quite good.
Some time after, the band wrote new songs and work on the next release who is going to be the band's first fill length record and it will be recorded in a professional studio during winter 2006-2007.

At the end of September, Jean, Laeti, Nico decided to leave the band.
The story of SAD SIBERIA will go on with Greg , Bruno, Joa and some new musicians.
Jamie-Lee (ex-Skeptical Minds) has joined the band as new singer and Christophe as new guitar player.
At the middle of january, Gaëlle, keyboard player of Valkyre has joined the band.
£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
