Mid-Winter was started as an experimental progressive band with the intention to expand the horizons of modern rock music and open the door to new musical genres. Mid-Winter's progression was temporarily halted some time ago when it split up, but it has persevered to realize the vision that started it all. It is now reborn as the group that it was destined to become. Harmonies sung by Melissa Reddin and Matt Allen tempt the senses and fulfill the soul with a feeling of pure contentment. The brooding and dark colors provided by the synth and piano leave the mind in a state of curiosity and intrigue. The dream is once again alive and Mid-Winter is poised to shock the world with an altogether new sound and musical genre.
Mid-Winter currently continues in the studio to finish their first album as a new band. We are planning a release sometime in early Spring 2008. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of helping Mid-Winter happen!

Hey Matt! About Skillet, I dunno if/when that's gonna happen. I'm slowly learning that a lot of what was discussed has been pushed to the side. That whole thing has really become something completely different than what was originally discussed. Disappointing, but not much I can do about it. If it changes, I will definitely let you know. In the mean time, maybe I can make my way up there some time to see you guys play. Anyway, I hope all is well with you. God bless.
