Safariari first came to people's attention at the beginning of this millenium, and should be crowned as the "King of unfortunate timing" as he released his Safariari debut album with cover art showing New York skyline, titled "Save New York" on Sept. 11th 2001. The album, immediately called back from retail, was later released with new cover and titled "Zebra Knights".
The album received its fair share of deserved attention, and summer of 2002 Safariari was touring all the major festivals and clubs. The album got great reviews,
like this one in Dagbladet and it also sold well! The sophomore Safariari album "Goaway" was released in 2004, and was again welcomed with open arms by the critics - Norway's largest newspaper VG called it "an abundance of playful ideas" in their 5/6 review, not to mention Norway's second largest newspaper Dagbladet, which also let the dice show 5/6 and called it a "rumble in the jungle"!
On March 30th Cafe Superstar Recordings will release Safariari's third album, titled "Igloodisko". The album was partially recorded in Tokyo, with finishing touches being done in New York.

Vi må bare beklage at har det vært mye rot og tøv på laboratoriet i det siste, og til alle som møtte opp til "åpent hus" sist helg - beklager at det var stengt! Vi ligger noe bak skjema med ferieavviklingen og avviklet i forrige uke høstferien 1998.
